Part 1 -Red Guard

It is 1966 and you are a student at Tsinghua University Middle School and you have just listened to Chairman Mao’s speech. You decide that Mao has the right idea and you along with your classmates decide to make a poster to show your support for the ‘Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution”. Mao writes you a letter showing his support of your poster and you are elected leader of your class.

Describe to your classmates how proud you feel when you join the Red Guard. (read the section "Beginning of the Red Guard Movement")
What are your beliefs?
What are the "Old Four" & the "New Four"
Where & how do you and your Red Guard members travel?
What items do you take on your trip?
What do you do?
What is your daily life like: how do you eat, what do you wear?
(Remember during this time you think you are doing the right things for the country).
